This is the best restaurant in Raleigh! We came for our one year wedding anniversary and it was a true memorable experience. Aastha was our server and she was 5 stars in service and attention! (Great picture taker too). The owner, chef and manager all came to congratulate us for this special occasion and everything we ordered was exceptional. Thank you Tamasha team! We will absolutely be back!

Tamasha is, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had. Every dish was packed with incredible flavor and expertly prepared. They customized the spice level for each of us, so everyone at the table was able to enjoy their meal exactly the way they wanted. Every recommendation we tried exceeded our expectations. The cocktails were an experience all on their own. Our waiter, Marco, created a little bit of magic at the table by pouring water over dry ice, turning each drink into a theatrical presentation that was as delicious as it was memorable. Marco truly elevated the entire evening. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, not only about the menu, but also about the different regions of India, the history behind many of the dishes, and how each one was traditionally prepared. His recommendations were spot on, and his passion for sharing the cuisine made the meal even more enjoyable. As a special touch, the chef came out to introduce himself and shared how his passion and creativity inspire every dish that leaves the kitchen. That personal connection made an already outstanding meal feel even more special. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine

My husband and I had a wonderful date night here. The ambiance was beautiful, the presentation was stunning, and every dish was thoughtfully executed. What truly surprised and delighted us was how authentic the food tasted. As Indians, these are flavors we grew up with, and despite the restaurant’s Michelin-guide aspirations and elevated presentation, the dishes stayed true to their roots and were absolutely delicious. Our server was fantastic, and we were especially touched when the chef came out to spend a few minutes with us. He recommended a dessert that ended up being one of the highlights of the meal, we cleaned the plate! It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines refined dining, genuine hospitality, and authentic flavors so successfully. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience

We recently visited Tamasha and tried a couple of their vegetarian appetizers along with two mocktails. The Dahi Ke Kebab came as two generously sized pieces and was quite enjoyable, especially when paired with the absolutely delicious chutney served alongside. The Sweet Potato & Kale Chaat was also a good portion sizeβ€”the creamy dahi and crispy kale worked beautifully together, while the sweet potato was packed with tangy tamarind chutney that added a nice burst of flavor. For drinks, we ordered the Seasonal Soda (orange and apricot) and the Guava Lime Spritzer. Unfortunately, both felt fairly average, with the Seasonal Soda tasting more like a simple orange juice than a crafted mocktail. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the ambience and service. The restaurant feels warm, elegant, and luxurious, and the staff delivered a truly top-notch dining experience. Portion sizes were generous enough that we felt quite full after just these appetizers. That said, while the food was good, it wasn’t particularly memorable for us and didn’t quite justify the price point. We’ve had better vegetarian appetizers elsewhere. Of course, our experience is limited to the vegetarian sta

We came here to celebrate my new job, and the staff took such great care of us from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. The food was absolutely amazingβ€”everything tasted fresh and high quality. The standout was definitely the butter chicken. It was hands down the best butter chicken I have had anywhere in the USA! The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and incredibly authentic. If you’re looking for delicious Indian food, great service, and an overall wonderful dining experience, this place is a must-try.
